High-quality Manufacturing Plants

In the course of SMC Food 21 rapid growth since its inception 16 years ago, 5 manufacturing plants have been established in the following countries: Singapore (1), Malaysia (2) and Thailand (2). The plant in Singapore managed to produce 49,000 metric tonnes of output in 2015, of which 90.5% were dairy blends. Meanwhile, the manufacturing plants in Thailand produced a total of 30,000 metric tonnes to cater solely to Japanese customers last year. While 60% of the products manufactured were sugar blends, milk blends and others, almost 40% of the products were sugar-cocoa blends. On the other hand, Malaysia's plants produced 15,000 metric tonnes of output in the same year and 87% of them were sugar-cocoa blends. In recognition of the company's commitment to perfecting its food quality, it has won several awards, such as Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP), ISO 22000, AVA Commendations, AIB certification ad FSSC 22000 as testimony to its capability of meeting the international standards.
